Between a grandmother's table in West Africa and a city apartment years later, a way of living took shape — and the Maison grew out of it.
West African hospitality teaches a particular attention: the cloth chosen for a table, the way a room is arranged before anyone arrives, the understanding that receiving someone well is a form of respect.
That attention — inherited from the women of the family — is the Maison's first material.
She moves between cultures, cities and roles — and wants her life to feel like one piece.
The Maison was built for that woman: confident rather than loud, generous with her table, deliberate about what she keeps. Motherhood, work and travel do not dilute her taste — they sharpen it.
Family runs through everything. Recipes, fabrics and habits pass down; the Maison simply gives them a contemporary form so they travel further.
Indigo from one coast, brass from another, a linen found in a market and kept for years. The Maison collects with intent rather than nostalgia — culture as a living reference, never a costume.
“We design for a life gathered from many places — a home, a wardrobe and a table that all feel like you.”
Because they are the same decision made three times: how she dresses, how she lives, how she gathers. Separating them would break the very thing the Maison is for.
Maison Jasmilaks grew from Aicha’s belief that the way we live should reflect how we want life to feel. Inspired by a childhood surrounded by beauty, fragrance, hospitality, and intentional living, she created the Maison as a modern expression of that feeling — where fashion, home, lifestyle, and experiences come together to make everyday life feel calm, beautiful, and deeply personal.
